WHY CHIMTEK?

Modern woodburning stoves and replaces are designed to provide maximum heating efficiency while producing a minimum of pollution. The chimney can have a major effect on how well these appliances perform under real-world conditions.

The Chimtek Inner Liner is made of a special blend of volcanic pumice aggregates and refractory cements to withstand extremely high temperatures and resist corrosive acids, which are present in solid-fuel gases. The innermost part of the liner becomes hot almost instantly when a fire is started and remains warm during periods of slow burn. This improves the efficiency of the heating appliance and reduces creosote formation.
